We encountered some pretty crazy weather conditions during our recent camping trip on Kick. You see, the forecast called for some sunshine, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Apparently, she decided to throw a massive downpour right in the middle of our adventure!
Our shelter quickly became into a swamp. {Everyaround us was soaked through and through. We attempted to stay dry, but it was a losing battle. The rain just kept pouring.
It wasn't all bad though. There was something special about the whole experience. Our group huddled together in our makeshift shelter, sharing stories and attempting to stay warm.

Well folks, it's been a crazy few months here on the farm! The veggies are blooming like crazy, and I'm totally excited about all the {freshingredients we're going to have.
I've also been workin'/toiling/hustling hard on {someventures that I can't wait to reveal you all about soon! In the meantime, here are a bunch of {quickhighlights:
* I finally finishing up the new barn.
* The chickens/goats/cows are laying/producing/giving tons/loads/plenty of eggs/milk/cheese.
* I've been trying out some new recipes using all the fresh ingredients from the farm.

Girl Gone Wild: Rain Campin with Jess
Rain deluged down, turning our campsite into a brown lagoon. But that didn't stop Jess! She was ecstatic to be out here in the wild, braving the elements with a smile on her face. We managed to throw together our tent, which leaked like a wounded animal every time a gust of wind hit it. We huddled inside, sharing laughs, the warmth of each other's company driving the chill. Later, we watched the rain drumming on the leaves, listening to the sounds of nature. This wasn't just a camping trip, it was an challenge. A true "Girl Gone Wild" moment!

Farmer girl Jess didn't realized it would be a rainy day when she decided to start/kick off/launch her livestream. Little did she know that the heavens themselves were going to open up and flood everything in sight! Jess took it in stride, proving once again that farm life is never a dull moment.
